Teens in Print: A program for city youth

WriteBoston runs Boston’s only citywide youth newspaper written by and for teens. Teens in Print unites the city’s teens by offering an authentic outlet to inform, communicate, and provide positive change through written expression.

Teens in Print publishes student writing produced through our after-school flagship program, our Summer Journalism Institute, and wide-spanning partnerships with teacher and classrooms across the City. TiP gives a voice to Boston’s youth, a voice that bellows from one end of the city to the other, across the boundaries of neighborhood, class, and ethnicity. Since 2004, the newspaper has published more than 1,250 students in over 65 issues.
