Introducing the Writing through the Distance magazine.

Teens in Print's latest publication chronicles the work students produced during the pandemic year. Our journalists wrote about mental health, virtual school, new hobbies, and much, much more.

Teens in Print is proud to present the Writing through the Distance magazine, a special print product celebrating the work created by our students over the last year. We’re sharing a digital version of this limited-run magazine for you to enjoy.

When students were sent home last spring, Teens in Print launched Writing through the Distance, a year-long project aimed at keeping students connected during the pandemic.

Now, as students end a school year interrupted by COVID-19 and return in-person next fall, the Writing through the Distance era has come to an end.We are incredibly proud of the perseverance of our students during an unprecedented time, and the remarkable writing that they produced in our entirely-virtual programming.

The writing featured in this magazine was originally published between July 2020 and April 2021. The works inside, along with many others, are available online at hub.teensinprint.com.

We hope you enjoy reading, and stay tuned for more from WriteBoston and Teens in Print.
